Klippensteins is positioned for and open to growth through hireback. Most of the numerous students who have worked for Klippensteins have been hired back for a period after their terms as students.
Some former students have moved along other pathways after summering/articling with Klippensteins, and achieved success in the legal profession elsewhere. One former student is a partner in a small progressive law firm in another city, another student became in-house legal counsel for a major multinational music and entertainment company, one student moved to a policy position in government, another student joined the staff of a legal clinic, and other former students eventually moved to associate positions at a progressive legal firm specializing in First Nations work.
